As things progress with BC into 2020 things are going very well and I am continuing training medical service dogs for families in BC and Calgary with the BC and Alberta and the US.  I am Certified through ABC and ABTA for training of people and dogs, recognized Federally and Provincially in BC, as a trainer, and able to work with your dog and you, so you have a working service dog. I have been working with dogs since I was 15 years old. So for me that's about 45 years of certified experience. I worked in Seattle with show dogs, grooming, showing and training. As my life changed I found myself up north working with sled dogs, and had a small team that pulled a sleigh, brought in wood and trees and packed gear to mining sites. I brought in abused dogs and at times was not just helping them to deal with aggressive behaviour, but at times physically rehabilitating them from beatings and abuse. I learned that dogs need a confident hand no matter if they are in the show ring, in harness, or learning to walk again. As time passed I began working with dogs that needed retraining to maintain their service dog certification.  I have been very successful with my work and find it very rewarding. I began focusing on training service dogs and was recognized in Service and Assistance dog training.  Dogs are always enthusiastic about learning, it depends on the owner, and if they want to put the work into making a team.
